Manuscript Submission Guidelines

NASCE 2015

Oral presenters are invited to submit a manuscript for “The Proceedings of the 2015 NASCE Meeting.” The “Proceedings” will be a special issue published in General and Comparative Endocrinology. Robert M. Dores, Ph.D. will serve as the handling editor for this project. Questions about your manuscript should be directed to R.M. Dores (rdores@du.edu). Prof. Vance Trudeau will be honorary editor for the special issue. Here are the types of manuscripts that we are seeking:

  • Plenary speakers have the option of submitting:
  • a large review (15 to 25 pages double spaced recommended; no limit on the number of figures or references)
  • a mini-review (up to 12 pages double spaced recommended; up to 4 figures recommended; no limit on the number of references)
  • an original research article (see GCE author guidelines)
  • Symposium presenters have the option of submitting:
  • a mini-review (up to 12 pages double spaced recommended; up to 4 figures recommended; no limit on the number of references)
  • an original research article (see GCE author guidelines)

–  All authors can publish 4 color figures at no charge

– Please submit your manuscripts online by accessing the GCE web site (http://www.journals.elsevier.com/general-and-comparative-endocrinology). The project will be designated “Proceedings 2015 NASCE”.

The deadline for submitting a manuscript is Novembe 15th, 2015. The site will become active on June 4th, 2015.

The program committee (chaired by R.M. Dores) will invite selected poster presenters to submit an original research manuscript. However, we need to emphasis that this submission cannot be in the format of an extended abstract. It needs to be the appropriate length and depth for an original research article and it will be handled as such.
